There is a certain kind of light in Italy—
warm, expansive, and unhurried.
It lingers on the surface of the lake.
It moves through narrow streets and quiet villages.
It invites you to slow down… and stay a little longer than you planned.
We’ll spend our days along the shores of Lake Como—
with time unfolding between places like Milan, Varenna, and Bellagio—
not simply to see them, but to experience the rhythm of life they hold.
A slower pace.
A deeper noticing.
A way of being that gently draws you in.
This is a week of gathering.
Not just the beauty around you—
but the moments that want to stay with you.
A paper fragment.
A café receipt.
A color reflected on the water.
A feeling you don’t yet have words for.
As these small pieces begin to collect,
they find their way into a vintage-style travel journal—
a handmade book that becomes both an art piece and a personal record of your journey.
Through collage, simple mixed-media, and reflective writing,
you’ll create layered pages that don’t just document where
you’ve been—
but hold how it felt to be there.
There is no expectation here.
No need for experience.
No pressure to create something perfect.
Only an invitation to trust what draws you,
to follow your instincts,
and to let the process unfold in its own way.
My role is to guide gently—
offering techniques, ideas, and encouragement—
while creating space for your own creative voice to emerge.
Together, we’ll share in the quiet joy of making,
the ease of conversation,
and the simple pleasure of being present in a beautiful place.
By the end of our time together,
you’ll carry home more than a journal.
You’ll hold a collection of moments—
gathered, shaped, and preserved in a way that allows you to return to them again and again.
Because in a place like this…
you begin to understand that memory is not something you keep in your mind alone—
it’s something you can hold in your hands.
A past journey. A future offering may return.
