Meet Tammy
A Story Unfolding

Your story is layered.
Your art is sacred.
Your becoming is not behind you — it is gently and continually unfolding.
Hello, I’m Tammy Gilley — artist, writer, and creator of The Soulful Journey™, a framework for creative and spiritual transformation from Shadow to Light.
This space began as a place to share art journaling and creative play — but over time, something deeper began to call. I became less interested in how to make the art and more captivated by what the art was saying. What it was revealing. What it was asking me to remember.
That shift became clear during a retreat I attended in the fall of 2024. I didn’t go looking for answers, but something profound found me anyway. In the quiet of that circle — surrounded by other soulful women — a truth rose up, clear and luminous:
I am being revealed to myself.
That single sentence changed everything.
It wasn’t about doing more or fixing myself.
It was about allowing — letting the layers of my story surface, letting creativity return to its sacred place, letting the self I thought I had to be soften into the one I truly am.
That moment became the seed of The Soulful Journey — a living body of work that now holds and guides others who are ready to soften into their own becoming.
Artist. Writer. Story Keeper of The Soulful Journey.
With a lovely group of students at the Art & Soul Retreat in Portland, OR.
What I Believe
I believe we are all works in progress and works of art — layered with memory and meaning.
I believe creativity is a path of devotion, healing, and truth.
And I believe that every woman holds a story waiting to be honored.
Through The Soulful Journey, I invite you to walk with me through the five Soul Stages — from Shadow to Light — guided by the Four Pillars, the Story Keepers, and the Soul Truths that steady us along the way.
This Space Is for You If...
- You’ve lived through seasons — carrying beauty and ache, questions and longings.
- You sense something within you is ready to rise — not with urgency, but with grace.
- You long to create not for perfection, but for presence.
- You crave community that honors both the quiet and the luminous.
You don’t need to reinvent yourself.
You don’t need to strive.
You only need to remember.
To allow your story to speak.
To trust that your becoming is not behind you — it’s waiting to be revealed.
A Gentle Invitation
I created this space not to teach you how to become someone else —
but to walk beside you as you return to yourself.
Whether you come with a paintbrush or a pen, with clarity or curiosity, know this:
You are not too late.
You are not too much.
You are not unfinished.
You are right on time.
And your story is still being written — one true, luminous layer at a time.
