Creating Along the Sunlit Coast of Spain

There is something about Spain that invites you to notice life more vividly.

The color of tiled streets beneath your feet.
The scent of citrus drifting through open windows.
The hum of conversation spilling from cafés long after sunset.

And somewhere in the midst of all that…
you begin to want to hold onto it.

We’ll begin in Barcelona,
and then move gently along the Costa Brava—
through places like Pals, Peratallada, and Calella de Palafrugell—

not just to see them,
but to experience the rhythm they carry.

This is a week of gathering.

Not only what you see…
but what stays with you.

A café receipt.
A museum ticket.
A scrap of paper.
A color you didn’t expect to love.
A moment you don’t want to lose.

At the heart of our time together is the creation of a vintage-style travel journal
a handmade book that becomes both an art piece and a personal record of your journey.

Through collage, simple mixed-media, and reflective writing,
these fragments begin to take shape as layered pages—

not just documenting where you’ve been,
but capturing how it felt to be there.

There is no expectation here.

No need for artistic experience.
No pressure to create something perfect.

Only an invitation to notice…
to gather…
and to respond in your own way.

My role is to guide gently—
offering techniques, ideas, and encouragement—
while creating space for your own way of seeing to unfold.

Together, we’ll wander, create, and share in the quiet joy of discovery.

By the end of the week,
you’ll carry home more than memories.

You’ll have a journal in your hands—
one that holds the texture, color, and spirit of your time in Spain…

and takes you there again each time you return to its pages.

Because you’re part of this space,
I’m opening this retreat to you first—before it’s shared more widely.
