Tourists in Our Own Town

We spent a lovely afternoon on SE Division in Portland yesterday.  Had lunch at St. Honore Boulangerie and then just wandered around, in and out of shops, sipping a cold beer here and there, as if we didn't have a care in the world.

Highly recommend the Croque Monsieur.  And aforementioned cold beer.

Cooling my heels.  Admiring my nifty new (comfy!) sandals and my Dora the Explorer backpack.  Actually, it's a lovely Henri Bendel backpack that my sweet sis bought for me when we were in New York City last year for my oldest nephew's college graduation.
I love it so much.

Graffiti art on a wall nearly hidden by a newer wall.

Random altar in a random flower planter.

Don't know who Jeffery & Bufton are, but they stood in this spot a looooonnnnnggggg time ago.

Totally diggin' the details in this mural.

I can verify: some really cool shit in there.

Contemplating tattoo art.

I'm not sure if she approves or not.  Very hard to read her.

Lots of very cool typography to be seen.  Should have taken more pics of that.  A lovely afternoon.  Perfect weather, yummy lunch, and exploring with my beloved.  Really doesn't get better than that.
What were you up to this weekend?
