Jars of paprika and curry and other exotic spices, baskets of vegetables still warm from the sun, an old bearded fellow bellowing the bargains of the day over a crackly loud speaker…these were the memories she had of an exotic market in a faraway land, and what she dreamt of, tucked under her quilt, watching re-runs of “The French Chef” on PBS.
This quilt has a lot going on, but goes together surprisingly fast. It looks great in bold, bright fabrics, and traditional fabrics as well.
